[Poster Presentation] High-Repetition-Frequency Terahertz-Wave-Pulse Generation Based on Photonic Technique

Abstract(in English) We have studied the use of pulse waves with a high-repetition frequency in the terahertz region that can achieve the same data rate as the carrier frequency at a wireless communication. As a pulse generation method, we investigated a system that photoelectrically converts high repetitive optical pulses using a photodiode (UTC-PD). We then proposed a measurement method of the high-repetition optical pulses by self-delayed interference. In this report, we generated high-repetition pulses by superposing several lightwaves with different frequencies and measured their pulse width.
