Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Redundant structures are often used to improve system reliability. However, the reliability of a redundant system decreases drastically by a common-cause failure. Common-cause failure is a failure that destroys several components at the same time. Therefore, it is very important to analyze system reliability considering common-cause failures. In this paper we consider a shock model that the failures of components including common-cause failures occur as the result of the occurrence of several types of independent shocks and discuss the reliability of a k-out-of-n system by using a multivariate Weibull distribution.
