| Abstract(in English) | It is known that human judgment of emotion is influenced by body-centered spatial position. For example, people tend to associate positive valence with position of their dominant hand and negative valence with position of their non-dominant hand. However, it is unclear how this association is related between human body parts. In the present study, by using hand and foot reaction time, we examined the relationship of space-valence compatibility effect between the body parts. We found that there is no significant correlation between the effects, suggesting that space-valence association is formed for each body part independently. |
