Study on stability of Active Load-Pull Systems

Abstract(in English) We are investigating load pull system required for efficient design of load circuit and matching circuit which can improve efficiency of microwave amplifier. Among them, we reported on active load-pull system (ALP) which is superior to the conventional method in measuring speed, accuracy, impedance tuning range, measuring instrument size. However, although the general open-loop and closed-loop ALP systems that have been examined have merits in their respective methods, it is a problem that there are problems with the ease of control of the reflection coefficient and phase angle, the tuning range, and the stability of the system I understood. Therefore, in this paper, based on simulation and experimental results, we will describe the causes of those problems and propose solutions.
