Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The photoplethysmography (PPG) and acceleration photoplethysmography (APG), which is the secondary differentiated PPG, are used as an index to evaluate parameters including arterial stiffness, aging of blood vessels, and stress levels of subjects. Additionally, PPG and APG are influenced by measuring position, so any other researches limit to keep the position while measuring PPG. However, the measuring position changes variously when we measure PPG continuously under freely activity. So, we measured PPG of the subjects that has seated position and supine position, assessed the influence of various measuring positions to cuffless blood pressure estimation. The test subjects were 4 young healthy persons aged 22?23 years (three males, one females). The interval from the start of the APG to the peak values at a, b, c, d and e significantly differed between measuring positions. The fact indicates that form of APG is made to change by measuring positions. In addition, we confirmed that measuring position affects to a blood pressure estimation due to relationship between the blood pressure and the PPG was changed by the measuring position.
