Design of Resource-aware Streaming Data Quality Controller Using Reinforcement Learning

Abstract(in English) The live streaming service provides quality of service according to available network resources. Therefore, it is difficult to provide services adaptable to diversified high-quality contents and low resource terminals. In this research, we propose a streaming data quality control method considering the environment using various contents and services in order to realize the live streaming service with quality adapted to the terminal to avoid interruption and delay during playing streams. In this paper, we design a resource-aware streaming data quality controller which determines the appropriate streaming data quality by learning the characteristics of streaming data and available computational and network resources of terminals.
