| Abstract(in English) | An image restoration by image regularization with morphological gradient priors has been proposed. In the method, the selection of structuring element (SE) in the morphological gradient priors is essential, and the optimal SE will give the superior results. In this paper, we propose a method to optimize the SE for the image regularization problem. The proposed method adopts a new objective function to optimize the SE and can perform the regularization with the selection of the optimal SE. Therefore, we expect an improvement of the accurate image restoration. Finally, the experimental result shows the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
