Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to analyze wave propagation of a broadband EM pulse inside biological bodies, it is necessary to consider frequency dispersion characteristics of complex relative permittivity into numerical method. In this paper, we apply a new finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method using fast inverse Laplace transform and Prony’s method to analyze problems including frequency-dependent media such as biological bodies. Analyses of EM wave propagation of a pulse impinging to homogeneous and multilayer spheres characterized by four Cole-Cole terms are carried out. Then, the numerical results are compared with Mie’s analytical results to confirm the validity and availability of the proposed method.
