Abstract(in English) | In this paper, spatial modulation systems that have been proposed for wideband systems are introduced. The spatial modulation has gained significant interest since 2008 with the aid of its antenna-hopping-based sparse structure, which achieves low-complexity detections at the receiver. This unique structure has been applied to millimeter wave, visible light, and multicarrier communications, aiming at achieving simple yet reliable wireless communications. This paper presents pros and cons of those systems in a comprehensive manner. |
