| 抄録(和) | 触地図の周囲に目盛りを付与し触地図を分割することによって知記号の探索時間を短くする手法が提案・実証されているが，探索時間を最も短くする最適な目盛りの数は明らかでない．本研究では，触地図の目盛りの数と時間の関係について，視覚障害者を対象とした実験により検証した．目盛りの数が異なる5種類の触地図を用意し，探索時間を計測した．その結果，目盛りの数が多いほど探索時間が短くなる傾向が見られたが，各条件間に有意な差は見られなかった． |
| 抄録(英) | The present study investigates the efficiency of the scales around tactile maps. own that the scales around tactile maps and division of tactile maps can shorten the search time for tactile symbols on the maps. But the optimal number of divisions that shortens the search time the most has not been found. We conducted an experiment in which tactile maps with five different numbers of divisions were presented to eleven blind participants. The search times for tactile targets on the maps were measured and a movie that recorded searching behavior was analyzed. The results show that the search time became shorter as the number of divisions increases, but there were no significant differences among the numbers of divisions. |
