Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To realize safe automatic driving without accidents, automatic braking system in emergency is very important, and various researches are done. In order to secure the safety and reliability of the automatic braking system, it is necessary to improve obstacle detection such as pedestrians and vehicle control, so highly reliable detection and control technology is required. As a technology supporting pedestrian detection technology, a method is being studied in which position information is transmitted and received by wireless communication, and pedestrians and cars detect each other's position. While it is possible to use existing devices such as smartphones, it is easy to disseminate, etc., communication delay and failure can directly lead to serious accidents, so highly reliable communication is required. In this research, we devised a collision accident avoidance system on the premise of communication between pedestrians and vehicles using communication posts. We focus on the MAC layer from the viewpoint of high reliability communication and propose a model - based MAC layer specialized in a model called a collision accident avoidance system at an intersection. This time, we applied the Hybrid MAC mechanism used in IEEE 802.15.6 to the collision avoidance system. By attaching priorities to communication, we examined ways to secure highly reliable communication as the risk of accidents is higher.
