Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A haze such as fog is one cause to decrease the visibility of the image. Image processing techniques for haze removal have been actively researched. In many approaches, the quality of the haze removal result is dependent on the obtained transmission map. In this paper, we shape the transmission map using the proposed filter based on the guide image and the normalized convolution. The effectiveness of the proposed method is showed by the experiments.
