Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, we have proposed an AR type footstep TA agent (virtual TA agent) that is expressed by a flexible--angle parametric speaker. The footstep-sound localization and its movement are expressed by rotation of two servomotors that are attached the parametric speaker. In this paper, we evaluated about 1) the virtual TA’s sense of existence due to sound directivity of footstep and 2) the impression from the audience who concentrates / do not concentrate on virtual TA in the lecture. The following results were suggested; 1) it was possible to draw the sense of virtual TA’s existence more strongly by the sound directivity of footstep, 2-1) the audience felt negative emotion when the virtual TA approached to her/him in the case that she/he is not concentrating, and 2-2) the concentrating audience did not feel negative emotion by the approach.
