Abstract(in English) | With the Stepped Frequency modulation (FM) radar, the echoes of stepped frequency modulation pulses are synthesized in the frequency domain to obtaion shorter pulses in the time domain. Therefore, the Stepped FM radar could avoid the interference from radars using various modulation methods and other wireless systems while maintaining high range resolution. However, since range resolution depends on the bandwidth, two targets placed below the range resolution resolution cannot be separated. Therfore, in this article presents a method to realize high resolution by applying Khatri-Rao product extended-array processing to Stepped FM radar, and evaluate effectiveness on empirical study. |
