Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is one of core technology supporting IoT (Internet of Things). It is being expected a wide application for observation of natural environment, management of building, etc. However, it has the significant challenge that it has sustained itself for a long time because of devices with limited battery capacity and intended purpose of WSN. In this study, we consider wireless powered relay transmission systems with two relay stations having the ability of RF-EH. RF-EH is a method to capture the energy from the surrounding radio waves to be used as a power resource. Each relay station is controlled by receiving station (base station) and they relay signal from transmitting station while switching RF-EH and data communication by comparison of remaining power of battery. According to the evaluation of outage probability performance, it is found that using multiple relay stations is effective to reduce the RF-EH duration to accomplish the same outage probability performance.
