Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Matched filter (MF) detector is known as the lowest computational complexity detector among all MIMO detectors practically studied in the literature. In general, the complexity for symbol detection increases with the number of antennas. Therefore, the lowest complexity property of MF detectors is attractive, especially for massive MIMO systems where hundreds of antennas are placed at either or both of transmitters and receivers. However, since it does not remove the interference from the other transmit antennas, it exhibits poor performance in high SNR region. In this work, we show that the performance of MF detector can be significantly improved at the cost of additional complexity based on interference cancellation.
