Abstract(in English) | The recent advent of mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) specified for Internet of Things (IoT) has attracted a lot of attention. Because of the increase of the amount of traffic generated by IoT devices, mobile networks would be congested. In such cases, Quality-of-Service (QoS) control is required to prioritizedelay-sensitive IoT traffic. However, the conventional techniques were built in the lower-layertechnology; the large cost and the technical difficulty made it difficultfor MVNOs to adopt those techniques for QoS control. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an application-level approachthat enables MVNOs to control QoS of IoT traffic. We introduce IoT traffic models and examine our system through simulation. |
