Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many schemes of elevator group control and destination floor reservation systems have already been proposed for efficient operation. Those schemes can only be applied when multiple elevators are installed. There are, however, so many single elevators are actually available in social life. Therefore we propose a system to solve inconvenience of single elevator in this study. When there are many people on a floor, users on the other floors are kept waiting very long time. To solve the problem, we visualize the degree of congestion and deliver messages to urge action for users. We confirmed the effectiveness of this system by simulation. In addition we constructed a simple system and evaluated the real-time performance.
