Study on mathematical model of multi-UAV search system

Abstract(in English) It is a still big social issue these days to find people who have disappeared because of getting lost in unexpected situation like disaster. To search such lost people in areas where humans and ground vehicles cannot easily step into like disaster-damaged areas, the search system using multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been expected as a promising solution for that. The efficiency of collecting data by UAVs (collecting efficiency) and the interval of obtaining results from analyzed data are both important metrics in the system though there is a tradeoff relationship between them, which has not been discussed in the prior works. Therefore, this report proposes a control method for the multi-UAV search system that enables us to handle this tradeoff relationship.
