Weak Points Detection of Products by Multiple Power Cycling Test

Abstract(in English) In order to prevent product failure in markets, it is important to detect weak points of products at the early stage of development. We investigated weak points detection test using module product with 2 failure modes: solder crack and FET short. Assuming that the failure causes are the stress of environmental temperature change and self-heating in driving, we carried out multipule power cyclying test: combination of thermal shock test and power cyclying test. As a result, we were able to reproduce 2 failure modes in a short time.
