Abstract(in English) We demonstrate fabrication of long-length four-core multicore fibers (4C-MCFs) by over-cladding bundled rods (OBR) technique. We confirmed repeatability of fabrication on 4C-MCFs with length of over 50 km with cladding diameter of 125 um by OBR technique from two trials, and it was also confirmed that longitudinal fluctuation of dimension and optical characteristics of these MCFs were enough small. These results indicate that OBR technique is effective for fabrication of long-length MCFs.
