[Invited Talk] Medical applications of 8K video system

Abstract(in English) 8K Super Hi-Vision, next generation broadcasting media of highly immersive audio-visual features, is now on test-broadcasting toward a new television broadcast in 2018. In addition, utilization of 8K video systems is expected because of its high picture power of expression. Especially in medical field, 8K video system is highly expected because of its ultra-high resolution and its expression ability for high sensation of realness. In this presentation, various applications of 8K system for medical use are introduced and expected fields of 8K system applications including network usage in medical field are discussed.
