Abstract(in English) Bulk-heterojunction organic solar cells with sandwich cell structure utilizing the liquid crystalline phthalocyanine, 1,4,8,11,15,18,22,25-octahexylphthalocyanine (C6PcH2), have been fabricated. Photo-conversion efficiency has successfully been enhanced by optimizing the thickness of the active layer and the blend ratio of donor and acceptor molecules. The photovoltaic properties were discussed by clarifying the relationship between the column axis direction and carrier mobility in the active layer.
