| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a waiting time estimation method for users in a waiting line by crowd behavior characteristics. The crowd behavior in the waiting line has a characteristic concerning the user actions of movement or stay among users. The user action is estimated by the acceleration sensor in the user’s smartphone, and the smartphone transmits the estimated user action by BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). We estimate the waiting line and the waiting time based on the estimated user action and RSSI of BLE. Using experiments, we obtained a high estimation accuracy which the mean estimation error was 3.1 seconds. |
