Smart Antenna System for Unknown Uncorrelated Source Groups in Multipath Environment

抄録(和) Abstract This study presents smart antenna system for unknown uncorrelated source groups containing coherent signals. The antenna elements are assumed to be isotropic, linear and uniformly spaced. The number of noncoherent signal groups is determined by using minimum description length (MDL). Then, effective steering vectors are estimated using the joint approximate diagonalization of eigenmatrices (JADE) algorithm, a high-resolution DOA method, multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm is realized to calculate the angles of coherent signals. The DOAs obtained are then processed using least mean square (LMS) algorithm. The simulation results reveal that adaptive beamforming is done by mitigating the effects of undesired signals.
