Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In air traffic management, performance indices such as safety and complexity are required to be developed. As such an index, we proposed a metric associated with the difficulty of air traffic control based on the proximity situation of aircraft pairs. This metric reflects three-dimensional proximity assuming a linear aircraft trajectory with constant speed. Because of this assumption, the proximity situation for some cases may not be properly projected when course change points exist within the projected time horizon. To avoid this, we considered how to modify the method using course change point’s information. This paper reviews the method of calculation for estimating the difficulty values and describes algorithms for predicting trajectories based on the course change point’s information. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by acalculated example.
