Abstract(in English) A new theory is proposed to measure the velocity vector of moving targets such as ocean currents by multi- aperture along-track interferometric (MA-ATI) SAR utilizing the conventional ATI SAR data. The range velocity component is computed from the conventional ATI data. For the estimation of the direction of motion, 4 sets of multi/sub-look complex images are first produced from each raw data acquired by the fore and aft antennas, in which the two sub-look images are forward-looking and the others are backward-looking. The two inteferograms in the corresponding directions are computed, and the direction can be measured from these interferometric phases.
