Abstract(in English) We present an experimental study of laser-induced electron emission from gated silicon field emitter arrays with submicron gate opening. The emission current showed linear dependence on laser power and the polarization dependence of the emission process was clearly observed. We find indicate that the current pulses from our devices are created by photo-field emission process dominantly.
