| Abstract(in English) | This research aims to, focusing on jargons in sports coaching from the perspective of the relevant field, reveal the cognitive process in which an emergent body image generated through interactions between coaches and athletes is symbolized. This research employed Pearson’s correlation coefficient and co-occurrence analysis as its analysis method with paying a close attention to the verbalization described by the members of the 42nd Japan national high school rugby team 2016 as its analytical resource. These results suggest that jargons conveyed from coaches to athletes are grounded on firstly their motions and then their senses, and later associated with their other behaviors．Meanwhile，it is also shown that such symbol grounding and association have a correlation with the difficulty level of the motions of the jargons． |
