| Abstract(in English) | This talk presents a review on the history of radio communication systems, in Japan mainly, which is reproduced from the contents of “Radio Communications and Broadcasting,” One Hundred Year History of IEICE, Part 2, Chap. 3, issued in Aug. 2017 as one of the One Hundred Year Anniversary Project of IEICE. First, the early history of radio communications utilisation is mentioned. For the second, the history of radio communication systems in Japan is reviewed.
