Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study considers an indoor high-speed optical wireless communication. In order to increase higher data rate, we introduce optical wireless multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technique. Conventional optical MIMO methods are trying to realize multiple channels by increasing the element spacing in short distace communi- cation. In this research, we measure the performance of 2×2 optical wireless MIMO system with sufficiently small element spacing at a distance of about 10m by experiment. Experimental results show that data transmission of 8Mbps is possible with BER < 0.0001, for example.
