Abstract(in English) Recently, Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) system has been attracting attention for large capacity instruments such as automobiles and electric railways. We investigated AC loss characteristics of an HTS coil and the electric power transmission characteristics to evaluate the possibility of application of the HTS coil to a high-efficiency and high-power wireless power transmission system operated in the low frequency region below 10 kHz. The AC loss of the HTS coil increased with frequency and current and the transmission efficiency depended on the magnitude of the received power and the transmission method.
