Efficiency Evaluation of Large Scale Wireless Power Transmission using Parallel Line Feeder

Abstract(in English) It is required to enlarge the transmit coil in order to deliver wireless power to moving object. The parallel line feeder system has been proposed for power transmission over a wide area. However, if the line is extended, there is a problem that the resistive component increases and the transmission efficiency decreases. In an attempt to deal with this problem, we introduce the four parallel line feeder and evaluate its performances. By electromagnetic field simulation it is shown that, the transmission efficiency increases and the effective range of lateral misalignment do not change in the four parallel line. In addition, transmission efficiency using multiple power receiving coils was evaluated.
