Evaluation of timing jitter of SSPD-SFQ system toward high time resolve coincidence circuit

Abstract(in English) We propose, design and fabricated photon coincidence circuit based on superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SSPDs) and single flux quantum (SFQ) circuit for HOM interference observation, which is one of the most fundamental unit in quantum information and quantum computing technology. Designed SFQ coincidence circuit can distinguish the timing of two input signals, which can be applied not only to HOM interference observation but also to pseudo photon number resolving. We installed SFQ coincidence circuit and two SSPDs into a GM cryocooler system and evaluated the timing correlation between two SSPDs. Obtained timing jitter between two SSPDs was 69.3ps, which is 25 ps smaller than that obtained by conventional method with commercial time correlated single photon counting module.
