Abstract(in English) | The number of wireless LAN devices has been drastically increasing in recent years, whereas the latest standard (802.11ac) adopts a function of channel bonding technique, which uses multiple and continuous channels, to increase transmission rate. Therefore, competition between multiple communication using the channel bonding with different range cannot be avoided. In this case, the gap of parameter settings including A-MPDU frame size could also deeply affect the communication performance. The Airtime for 802.11ac devices becomes longer than that for other conventional ones because these devices are required to transmit A-MPDU frames. In this paper, we first assumed the use of the static channel bonding, and then investigated how the competition among communication with different settings of channel bonding and/or A-MPDU frame size affects the performance. Simulation results showed that the maximum range of channel bonding and the appropriate A-MPDU frame size, which can balance the Airtimes among communication, are essential for effective channel utilization. |
