Passive Aircraft Surveillance by Two Optical-Fiber-Connected Passive Radars

Abstract(in English) Multi-static primary surveillance radar (MSPSR) has recently attracted attention as a surveillance technology forcivil aviation. Using multiple receiver, Primary surveillance radar (PSR) detection performance can be improved bysynthesizing the reflection characteristics which change by the aircraft's position, configuration, and so on. In this paper, inorder to expand the coverage of Primary surveillance radar(PSR), we describe the application of a signal-processing equivalentto PSR using data acquired by the experimental system installed at Sendai Airport.
