Study of Assessment Support System of Unilateral Spatial Neglect

Abstract(in English) Unilateral spatial neglect (USN) is one of the after effects of the stroke. USN is a lack of awareness, or decreased awareness, of sensory stimulation in the contralesional hemispace. Generally an assessment of USN are performed the clinical test, which is sheet based test such as the line cancelation test. The clinical test is based on two dimensional space. But human visual perception is based on three dimensional space. In this paper, we proposed USN assessment support system using head mounted display (HMD) in order to evaluate USN in three dimensional space.
