[Poster Presentation] A Bandwidth Reservation Method According to User Request in Content Centric Network

Abstract(in English) CCN (Content Centric-Network) has attracted attention as a new network architecture suitable for content distribution. In conventional QoS control in CCN, a priority has been relatively controled with caching strategy. However, in video content distribution, bandwidth is required to bit rate of the video content, and QoS control based on relative priority is insufficient. Our laboratory has proposed a bandwidth reservation method to CCN architecture that ensures absolutely reserve bandwidth considering bit rate of video content. However, even if the bandwidth guaranteed content is prepared bandwidth for a bit rate of the content, the prepared bandwidth is insufficient in case that many users request for the same content. In this paper, we propose a method adaptively reserve bandwidth based on our previous work.
