Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To ensure human safety against electromagnetic (EM) exposures due to wireless power transfer (WPT) systems operating in MHz-band frequencies, a compliance test must be conducted using either numerical simulations or measurements. In this research, we perform simulation by using hybrid MoM-FDTD method for exposure evaluation inside a numerical human body in the proximity of MHz-band WPT system. Furthermore, we investigated a strength of EM coupling between human body and WPT system in order to validate conventional two step methods which ignore effect of EM coupling; i.e., impedance method and scattered field FDTD method. As a result, the difference in the exposure evaluation results resulting from ignoring EM coupling is 3.7 % at the maximum when the distance between human body and WPT system is 1 cm. We validated conventional two step method for exposure evaluation of MHz-band WPT systems and obtained the uncertainty caused by ignoring EM coupling.
