Abstract(in English) | It is essential to analyze the time variation of sweating and core temperature elevation to evaluate the adverse health effect of heat load on the human. The risk of heat stroke of children and elderly has been reported to be higher than adults. In particular, a half of carriers by the heat stroke are the elderly. If it is possible to predict patient numbers for heat stroke in conjunction with weather forecast information, we can apply the prediction system to popularization awareness raising activities etc. In this paper, we calculated the body temperature and water loss assuming that the subject stayed in resting condition using the weather data in Nagoya. We presented an index by comparing the heat index WBGT, which is a short-term indicator with the derived total perspiration amount and body core temperature. |
