Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, saliency based mathematical models are frequently used to predict observers' gaze shifts. Although these models are superior to predict gaze positions at first sight, scan-path simulations are not useful because they do not consider the history of gazed locations. In this study, we proposed a new model which predicts scan-path of free-viewing condition. The proposed model processes the position information and the visual feature information separately by considering physiological mechanisms. We evaluated the validity of the model by comparing the cross-correlation of simulated scan-paths and actual human eye movements. The results suggest that the validity of proposed model is superior to other representative models, and proposed model is effective for predicting scan-path of free-viewing.
