Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently due to climate change in the world, there are many rain-fall disasters in Japan. Against this situation, we have to select effective and efficient evacuation receiving alert or warning information in order to reduce severe damage. Meteorological bureau decided to declare alert or warning following numeric values relating weather situation which is observed in weather stations. However, residents cannot understand the meaning of numeric values about weather situation, so they cannot make decision for effective evacuation. Against this issue, we design and develop a web-application which can indicate maximum value around user’s location. Furthermore, in this application, users can set the period to abstract weather situation in order to compare the numeric values to their own experience. After developing this, professions of social disaster management reviewed this, and our application critically acclaimed from them.
