Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To evaluate and analyze a fun or a feeling of interest of the digital game, non-invasive physiological measurement during game playing was contemplated. For this, a sensor device was considered to be embedded or integrated into a game device. As a first attempt of this concept, photoplethysmography (PPG)—arterial pulse measurement using light — from forehead during VR gaming was planned. In this study sensor signal from green light reflection PPG on forehead during Minecraft gaming was measured and evaluated by analyzing heartrate variability to assess autonomic nerve index. As a result, peaks of LF/HF synchronized with events in the game were observed.
