| Abstract(in English) | Network infrastructure as well as its management has evolved. Thus there is still a growing need for effective resource usage. In Distributed Storage Systems (DSS), redundancy is intrinsically needed to provide highly available services, therefore a single path routing does not fulfill the current requirements. Moreover, since most solutions use traditional networking techniques, they do not take advantage of the existing infrastructure. In this research, we propose a Software Defined Network (SDN) based control method for effective multipath utilization and performance improvement when transferring data in DSS. This paper presents the overall design of the proposal. |
