Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, systems for health management have been widespread, and one of them is a system for managing meal information. There is a system that manually records the meal. There is also well known a system that takes scenery of a meal with a smartphone and records the contents of the meal by image recognition. Also, using IoT technology, systems that collect dietary information by attaching sensors to human bodies and tools have also been studied. However, these systems require a lot of demands and time for the user. Moreover, these systems can not collect information during meals such as meal time and meal order. In this paper, to solve these problems, we propose a meal information collection system which uses smart tableware built with multiple sensors. This system can gather information automatically and collect meal time and meal order. Moreover, as a performance evaluation, experiments on eating recognition accuracy was carried out.
