Abstract(in English) | Now a days, around the half of the world people live in the city area, and that number becomes seventy percent in 2050. In smart city, quite number of things communicates economically, through information and communication technology (ICT). In this case, many number of small cells stand together in a disorderly way, and large signaling and management overhead become a burden of the system. In order to cope with these issues, we propose software-defined network for smart city. Our network consists of separated C-plane and D-plane, and the structure of C-plane is hierarchical and distributed. In addition, since controller and data processor are virtualized, the number of controllers and data processors can be changed dynamically, according to the traffic volume. These mechanisms bring about scalability and flexibility. |
