[Invited Talk] The mission of Product Test of National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan(NCAC)

Abstract(in English) Consumer inquiries received by local consumer centers across Japan include information on accidents (e.g. injuries incurred when using products or services). The Product Test Department of the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan (NCAC) investigates accident cause in response to requests from local consumer centers, and in case of necessity, publicly announces product test results. The following describes some of the product test results in the past as well as operations and functions of the Product Test Department.
