Abstract(in English) | As wireless communication technology is more sophisticated and digital signal processing is more complex, the importance of software is higher. In wireless communication research, firstly, researchers perform a simulation on a computer and then conduct experiments in a laboratory environment using actual signals in order to evaluate new algorithms and reception quality under specific conditions. In recent years, software defined radio (SDR) is increasingly used to implement complex signal processing efficiently when building experimental environments. Our group has focused on constructing an evaluation environment of a wireless communication system applying SDR, based on the experience having engaged in the simulation of the wireless communication field for many years. Among them, we introduce a method to construct a wireless communication experiment environment including a propagation environment based on a simulation program, with examples of narrowband wireless communication such as QPSK, and wireless LAN adopting OFDM. In addition, we mention problems that we should pay attention, and countermeasures of them, when evaluating using SDR. |
