| Abstract(in English) | Multicast is required for group communications in datacenter networks. However, traditional IP multicast has several issues in large scale datacenter networks because of the requirement for scalability and communication efficiency. In order to solve them, various multicast methods based-on SDN are proposed. However, since popular SDN controller platforms do not implement those proposal, we cannot use them to implement messaging middleware. In this pepar, we exploit a multicast routing algorithm using SDN, called AvRA, to implement a simple datacenter aware multicast. AvRA has several remaining issues to be implemented in a controller platform, because of the ambiguous algorithm descriptions. We clarified its procedures of initial distribution tree construction and distribution tree update cased by member leaving. In addition, we investigated that influences to the number of flow entry and the processing cost by flow entry implementation method. |
