Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to improve throughput over WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), IEEE 802.11ac standard, which comes to be used recently, adopts the frame aggregation and MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output) mechanisms. When the frame reception times are different, however, it is possible that there may be wasted portions in spatial streams. In order to avoid these wastes, several methods to control the frame aggregation size for MU-MIMO has been proposed. The conventional methods mainly focus on the increase of channel utilization, that is, decrease the waste of spatial streams. However, they suffer from increased queueing delay of packet transfer. In this paper, we propose a novel scheme to select the frame aggregation size by applying Nash Bargaining Solution (NBS) of negotiation game. The result of performance evaluation by computer simulation clarifies the improvement of throughput by the proposed scheme.
